Find the Perfect Fit for Your Dog
Accurate measurements ensure comfort and freedom of movement. Follow this guide to find the perfect Fouramour fit.
How to Measure Your Dog?
Taking accurate measurements is essential for choosing the right size. By measuring your dog's neck, chest, and back length, you can easily find the perfect fit.
Back Length
Extend the measuring tape from the base of the neck to the start of the tail. Make sure your dog is standing on a flat surface, with its body parallel to the ground and balanced on all four legs.
Chest Circumference
Place the measuring tape just behind the front legs. Gently slide the tape to find the widest part of the chest, and leave one finger of space while measuring.
Neck Circumference
Place the measuring tape where the collar naturally sits and wrap it around the neck. Measure comfortably around the neck, leaving one finger of space.

Proper Position
Keep your dog standing upright in a natural position during measurement.
Measurements taken while lying down may be inaccurate.
Leave a little space for comfort
Do not pull the measuring tape too tight; leave enough space for one finger.
This ensures your dog can move comfortably.
Consider Coat Thickness
For long-haired dogs, place the measuring tape under the fur.
This helps achieve a more accurate measurement.
Weight Is a Reference
Weight is only a general guideline.
For the best fit, always rely on body measurements.
The measurements shown in the chart refer to your dog's body, not the product.

Hat Size Chart
Head circumference is the most important measurement for choosing the right size.
The hat's flexible structure allows it to stretch and fit comfortably.
Sizing should be based on your dog's measurements.
| Size | Head circumference (cm) | Neck circumference (cm) | Weight (kg) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 19–21 | 20–23 | 1–3 |
| 2 | 21–24 | 23–26 | 3–5 |
| 3 | 24–28 | 26–31 | 5–8 |
| 4 | 28–33 | 31–34 | 8–12 |
| 5 | 33–37 | 34–37 | 12–18 |
| 6 | 37–40 | 37–40 | 18–25 |
Head Circumference
Measure around your dog's head, just above the eyes and around the base of the ears.
Neck Circumference
Measure around the neck where the collar naturally sits.
Weight
Weight can be helpful as a general reference, especially for mixed breeds or when unsure about sizing.
Take Individual Measurements
Even within the same breed, sizes may vary. Always measure your dog individually.
Knit Hats Are Flexible
Knit hats have a flexible structure and naturally adapt for a comfortable fit.
Additional Tips
Always use a measuring tape for accuracy. The hat should not feel tight while your dog is moving. If your dog is between two sizes, choose the larger size.
