Which size fits which dog?
Every product on this page offers a size of 3XL or above. The size ranges are as follows:

As a rough guide: 3XL suits medium breeds such as the Cocker Spaniel, Beagle and Border Collie; 4XL–5XL suits large breeds such as the Golden Retriever, Labrador and German Shepherd; 6XL suits giant breeds such as the Rottweiler, Kangal and Doberman. Breed is only a starting point — the final decision is made with a tape measure.
Why is sizing harder to get right on a large dog?
On small breeds a deviation of a few centimetres is tolerated; on large breeds it is not. Because of the broad rib cage, long body and powerful shoulders, back length alone is not enough — chest circumference is at least as decisive.
Take the measurements with your dog standing in a natural posture: back length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, and chest circumference just behind the front legs. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one; a tight garment noticeably restricts movement on a large dog.

Large Breed raincoats — up to 6XL
The fleece-lined waterproof raincoats with “Large Breed” in the name are offered from 3XL to 6XL and are designed as separate products for medium-to-large breeds. They cover the widest size range in the collection.
Four-legged suits
A membrane-coated outer surface, a premium fleece inner layer and an ergonomic four-legged pattern. Because they also cover the legs, they give the most complete protection in mud and snow; sizes run from M to 5XL.
T-shirts, dresses, bandanas
Summer cotton t-shirts go up to 5XL, reversible bandanas up to 5XL and denim dresses up to 3XL. A large dog's wardrobe is not only for winter.
Why does it need a separate pattern?
Large breed clothing is not a small size scaled up. The ratio between shoulder width, chest depth and body length changes as the breed gets bigger; simply enlarging the same pattern produces a garment that pinches at the chest and falls short along the back. The products in this collection are offered with an adjustable waist and collar in the large sizes too.
Every model has a leash access opening — you can attach the leash without removing the garment.
